Backup (New Feature)

No matter what you do with data, it’s important to have backups. At Donor Tools, we have a backup system in place that would let us restore the entire system in the event of a failure.

But don’t just take our word for it. You can back up your own Donor Tools data yourself, and save it on your own computer. We provide an quick way to download your entire Donor Tools database to one big XML file.

Backing up is easy:

  1. Sign in to your organization
  2. Click “Settings”
  3. Click “Download Backup Archive”
  4. Download the file to your hard drive

Depending on how much data you have, downloading your archive may take anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes.
